The suspects, namely Mohamed Musa Nabukalasi alias Moha, Sifoli Sam Wafula alias Sande, Alex Ogamba alias Toto, and Clinton Wafula alias Macho, were arrested during coordinated DCI operations in Nairobi’s Pumwani, Dandora, Huruma, and Saika estates.

According to the detectives, the four were found in possession of firearms and dozens of rounds of ammunition, which police believe were used in a series of cross-border robberies.

The group face multiple charges, including robbery with violence, unlawful possession of firearms, and being unlawfully present in Kenya (for the three Ugandans).

They were arraigned, and they denied the charges.

The State opposed their release on bail due to the seriousness of the charges and concerns about flight risk.
