The push by the youth for leadership transformation has taken a significant leap forward with the successful registration of a new political outfit.

The Forty Seven Voices of Kenya Congress Party, popularly referred to as the Voices Party, has already been awarded its provisional certificate, making it oneof the registered parties in the country.

Unveiled on Tuesday, the party, according to its Secretary General Jibril Manyasa, now becomes the first in “Kenya’s history to be founded, led, and driven entirely by young leaders”.

“This moment belongs to every young person with the interest of our nation at heart by championing real change via participation in democracy,” Manyasa said in a statement.

He noted:

“This is more than just registration; it is the birth of a people-driven political movement rooted in integrity, innovation, and inclusion.”

Manyasa pointed out that their values are anchored in integrity, innovation, and inclusion, adding that they are building a party that listens, serves, and restores public trust in leadership.

The party, whose slogan is “Sauti Kila Mahali”, is symbolised by a carillon silver bell, which the founders represent as unity, clarity, and urgency in addressing national issues.

Manyasa added that apart from the youth, the party will also rally support across demographics, urban and rural, professional and informal, with a promise to replace 'empty rhetoric' with real action.

“Our goal is to provide a platform where every Kenyan, especially the youth, can speak their mind, drive transformation, and shape the destiny of their country,” he added.

This, as he called on the public, civil society, media, and other stakeholders to join the conversation and participate actively.

With less than two years to the next election, the Voices Party aims to position itself as a fresh alternative in the country's political landscape, one that prioritises principles over personalities.

“Our mission is to provide a platform for Kenyans to speak their minds in transforming the country, and to inspire, equip, facilitate and harness the synergies of Kenya towards transforming their own lives and those of their children,” said the official.
