The match between Police FC and Gor Mahia was held at Ulinzi Sports Complex.

The game ended with both teams scoring 1-1 after numerous chances.
The result was enough to seal the title for Police FC, who finished the season on 65 points, six ahead of Gor Mahia’s 59, which made Police FC, a winner of the match.
The decisive match drew large crowds and national attention at the Ulinzi Complex.

Raymond Omollo praised the teams for their remarkable performance throughout the season.
‘’Police FC is the only club in the league with audited accounts, reflecting transparency and good governance,’’ said Raymond Omollo.
The match was attended by Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen, and FKF Deputy Chair, McDonald Mariga.

Also present were Deputy Inspector General of the Administration Police Service Gilbert Masengeli, Acting DIG KPS, Patrick Tito and and Kenya Police FC Executive Chair Nyale Munga.
The National Police Service (NPS) congratulated the team for their victory, saying the victory reflects the team's core values both on and off the field.
