

Police in Nakuru County have launched investigations after the body of an unidentified woman was discovered early Wednesday morning at a farm in Nakuru West Sub-County.
According to a police report, the body was found at Technology Farm, approximately five kilometres west of Kaptembwo Police Station.
The head of security at the farm reported that at around 7 am, he was informed by a staff member that a body had been spotted near a feeder road within the farm.
The deceased, described as a female adult believed to be in her early thirties, was found lying in a corner of the farm.
Police officers from Kaptembwo Police Station, in coordination with detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Nakuru West, visited the scene.
The body had visible head injuries and a mark on the neck consistent with possible strangulation, officers said.
The scene was processed and documented before the body was moved to the Nakuru County Annex mortuary for preservation, identification and post-mortem examination.
The case is currently under active investigation by DCI Nakuru West and is being treated as “pending under investigation” (PUI).
Authorities have urged members of the public who may have information that could assist in identifying the deceased or shedding light on the circumstances surrounding her death to come forward.
