President William Ruto, accompanied by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, officially opened a KCB Bank branch located at Tom Mboya University in Homa Bay.
Blue Economy Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho, Treasury CS John Mbadi, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga were also present, among other leaders.
Ruto also presided over the closing of the Blue Economy Conference at Tom Mboya University (TMU).
He is in the region for a three-day tour ahead of Madaraka Day celebrations to be held in the county.
