ODM leader Raila Odinga and President William Ruto accompanied by other leaders when they arrived in Kisumu on May 29, 2025/PCSPresident William Ruto commenced on Thursday his tour of the Nyanza region, where he is scheduled to inspect and commission development projects in various counties.
The planned tour comes ahead of the Madaraka celebration to be held in Homa Bay County.
Ruto, who was accompanied by ODM leader Raila Odinga and other several leaders, including Cabinet Secretaries, began by launching the construction of the Lake Victoria Point housing project in Kisumu before commissioning the Makasembo project.
He also inspected the Lumumba affordable housing and later launched the tarmacking of Marindi-Oria Bridge roads in Homa Bay County.
