During the visit, CS Ruku presided over a ceremonial leadership handover at the NYS Council, where Lieutenant General (Rtd.) Njuki Mwaniki formally handed over the chairmanship to Lieutenant General (Rtd.) Adan Mulata.

The occasion brought together top NYS officials and senior government representatives, symbolizing continuity and renewed commitment to youth empowerment and institutional reform.

Commandant General James K. Tembur, MBS, expressed heartfelt appreciation to outgoing chair Lt. Gen. Mwaniki for his exemplary leadership and dedication to the NYS mission.

He also welcomed Lt. Gen. Mulata, voicing confidence in his ability to steer the council into a new era of excellence and impact.
