leaders from the region sat together, stating that they are always on different
sides.
“I think it is for the first time that these leaders have
held solidly together like this,” Joho said

for the people of Kenya to be fulfilled,” Mvurya said.

coastal region also get to enjoy the fruits of being part of the government,” he
said.
In addition, the Senator for Kilifi, Stewart Madzayo expressed
that he will support Ruto to the latter noting that the coastal region has been
marginalised for a very long time.
“For a very long time we have been left behind but this is
our time for us to harvest since we have a President who has us in mind,”
Madzayo said.
Member of Parliament for Likoni Constituency Mishi Mboko reassured Ruto of their support no matter what comes their
way because of the goodwill that he has shown for the people.
“ Just know that you have our support and we are right behind you,” Mboko noted.
