The Affordable Housing Project in Eldoret is 82 per cent complete, Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo has revealed.
The project, which is part of President William Ruto’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), is aimed at addressing Kenya’s urban housing challenges.
‘’This development, anchored by President William Ruto's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), is empowering communities and redefining urban living,’’ Omollo said.
Omollo said currently, a team of 220 workers is on-site, driving civil works and finishing touches across nine residential blocks.
According to Omollo, the project comprises 220 housing units: 60 studio apartments, 40 one-bedrooms, 100 two-bedrooms and 20 three-bedrooms, offering a wide range of options to meet the diverse housing needs of residents.
The project is strategically located in the newly conferred Eldoret City, in which it will significantly ease the housing pressure while spurring socio-economic growth in Kapsuswa and the greater Eldoret metropolis

artisans and MSMEs to provide essential construction materials and services.
