The County Government of Samburu has announced several job opportunities that qualified persons can apply for consideration.
Of the 47 advertised job opportunities, 29 are permanent and pensionable, while 18 are on contractual terms.
The jobs advertised under pensionable and permanent
basis include a Quantity Survey Assistant II, Land Survey Assistant Permanent (4 positions), a Geospatial Data Officer (11 positions), an Inspector Water Engineer(2 positions)and a Ground Water Inspector.
Also needed are two Assistant Water Engineers, a Hydrogeologist, a Deputy
Director of Communication, a Director of Performance Management, a Deputy Director of Performance Management, a County Director of Legal Services, a Principal Legal
Counsel and a Deputy Director of Public Participation and Civic Education.
Other job positions still under permanent and
pensionable contract are a Deputy Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, a Participation
and Civic Education Officer, a Director for Public Participation & Civic Education, Medical
Officers (6 positions) and a Medical Specialist (Obstetrics and Gynaecology).
Additionally, three positions are for Registered Clinical Officer
(Anesthetists), Kenya Registered Community Nurse (KRCHN) (6 positions), a General
Surgeon, a Physician, Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nurse (3 positions), a Co-operative
Auditor and a Director for Strategy and Programme coordination, Accountant II (2 positions), Internal Auditor II (2 positions) and a Deputy Director for Sports
and Youth Affairs.
Contractual job opportunities on the other hand
include a Municipality Manager, a Head of Protocol, Protocol Officer 11 (3 positions), Protocol Officer III (6positions), Information Officer(2 positions), Field Officers(3 positions), a Deputy County Secretary, a Director
Administration (Gender Advisor) and a Director Liaison.
Other vacancies are for Director for Peace and Cohesion, a
Director for Strategy and Programme coordination, a Director for Research and Policy, an Investment &
partnership coordinator, an Interdepartmental coordinator, a Director for Technical
Advisory Services, a Chairperson-Audit Committee and a Deputy Director for Fleet
Management
