Teargas fills a section of Waiyaki Way as youths clash with anti-riot police

Police have fired teargas along Waiyaki Way as they clashed with youths who are pelting stones in their direction.

In a video seen by the Star, there is dark smoke billowing along the road, near the Kangemi area.

Youths can be seen pelting stones as crowds gather on a flyover as they block the road with stones.

Police can be seen firing teargas at the protesters, who have joined others in some parts of the country for the demonstration on Tuesday.

Businesses in the area are slow as several shops remained closed for the day. 

Elsewhere along Mombasa Road, youths are seen dancing on the highway at Mlolongo in protest.
