President William Ruto has bid farewell to Congo Brazzaville Ambassador to Kenya Jean Pierre Ossey.

Ossey has completed his tour of duty in Kenya.

"I congratulate him for his efforts in strengthening the relationship between our two countries," Ruto said. 

Following the meeting, Ruto acknowledged that Kenya and Congo have excellent diplomatic and bilateral ties that have led to more interactions between the two peoples.

This, he said, has strengthened trade, business and cultural ties.
