The High Court sitting in Nairobi has ordered Former Muranga Governor Mwangi Wa Iria to present himself before the EACC for processing ahead of his arraignment on Tuesday.

He is set to face graft-related charges.

Justice Nixon Sifuna directed that the former county chief, Jane Waigwe Kani and Solomon Kimani cooperate with EACC and DPP and present themselves for fingerprint taking and statement recording.

"In the intervening period between now and tomorrow they shall not be arrested. They shall have their advocates escort them to the EACC," said the Judge.

The high court in Murang'a had issued temporary orders stopping their charging in court.

But those orders were vacated by Muranga Presiding Judge James Wakiaga who subsequently transferred the matter to the Nairobi High court Anti-corruption Division for further directions.
