Woman charged with stealing electronics worth Sh500,000 after allegedly visiting a man's house

A woman who allegedly visited a man's house and later said to have stolen items worth Sh 571,000 has been charged in court.

Diana Ondiso Osoko was charged before Kibera Chief Magistrate Ann Mwangi where she denied the charges.

When asked by the magistrate whether she had any personal relationship with  John Wainaina Kubai, the complainant in the case, she did not give a direct answer.

The offence was allegedly committed on November 11, 2023, at Cherry Wood along Dennis Prit Road in the Kilimani area within the Nairobi Sub-County.

She allegedly stole an iPhone 8 plus A189 mobile phone valued at Sh170,190, a Samsung phone worth Sh220,565 and a laptop worth Sh180,020.

She denied the charges and was released on Sh300,000 cash bail.

The case will proceed later this month for a mention.
