LIVE: Ruto's first State of the Nation address

President William Ruto has arrived at Parliament buildings where he is expected to deliver his first-ever State of the Nation address since taking over power in September last year.

He was received by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Speakers of the bicameral Parliament Moses Wetang'ula (National Assembly) and Amason Kingi (Senate).

Ruto arrived at the Parliament Buildings at around 2:27 pm on Thursday.
