Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has vowed that the government's journey to fulfil its promises to Kenyans is unstoppable.

In a statement, Duale said that the government will not back down or change its plan on the Bottop- Up manifesto

"We are on a relentless, forward-only match to better the lives of Kenyans, from the Bottom-Up. And, like a train on the railroad, we know no reverse gear," he said.

The former Garissa Township MP supported his boss and party leader, noting that President William Ruto has re-affirmed his stand over demands by the Opposition.

"No amount of threats and intimidation will delay nor deter the dream!" Duale said.

"Those whose archaic political tactics of employing anarchy have no place in our modern democracy. Kenya Kwanza!" he added.

The CS was reacting to Ruto's statement in Tharaka Nithi where he fired another warning shot at the Azimio La Umoja coalition. He said that his government will not permit demonstrations going forward.

The President said the protests have led to the loss of lives and properties.

"We will not allow the handshake brothers to hold our country ransom and to take it hostage, by causing violence, mayhem and anarchy. Tutawakalia ngumu vile mumesema, they will not succeed," Ruto said.

The President said that demonstrating will not put food on the table for Kenyans.
