Azimio leader Raila Odinga now says that Kenyans are tired and their message is loud and clear.
Speaking on Wednesday amid protests across the country, Raila said Kenyans are tired of fake promises and being ignored.
He said the turnout in Wednesday's protests shows how tired Kenyans are.
"People have come out even in the most remote parts of the country. The message is out loud and clearly that Kenyans are tired," Raila said.
"People are tired of promises, people are tired of being ignored, tired of going to bed hungry, tired of walking from one office to another."
The former Prime Minister said the second Kamukunji meeting got off to an excellent start across the country.
He said the turnout in countrywide protests means the people are determined to decide for themselves how they are going to shape their lives.
"People are tired of the economic and social stagnation they find themselves in.," Raila said.
"People are tired of rules and askaris everywhere whose sole purpose is to pick every coin we make and take it to Ruto as tax, while we go home with nothing for our families."
The Wednesday protests have been marred with running battles between protesters and the police in different parts of the country.
The protests started as early as 9 am with tyres burnt in the middle of roads.
Some protesters in Mlolongo vandalised the Nairobi Expressway, while they engaged the police in running battles.
They also barricaded the Expressway, before police intervened.
