He's best leader! Dorcas sends message to Gachagua's critics

Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi has showered her husband Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua with praises for being a good partner to her.

Speaking on Wednesday when they hosted Kenya's Special Olympic team that represented the country in Berlin, Germany, Dorcas cautioned people who have a problem with the DP saying he is the best man.

"Those people who have a problem with my husband, you better know he is a very good husband,” Dorcas said.

"He is also a very good father. Not only that, he is the best leader you can ever have. He is a man with a big heart,” Dorcas said.

She went on to say that Gachagua is the man behind her success and has enabled her to pursue her dreams.

"Sometimes when you see a woman who is able to move around and to pursue her dreams and to do what she deserves to do is because behind her is a great man like Riggy G,” Dorcas said.

She said the DP was very busy to even attend the ceremony but he still made himself available for the sake of his wife.

On Wednesday, Gachagua gifted Sh3 million to Kenya's Special Olympic team for their commendable performance during the games in Berlin, Germany.

"It is a holiday so I will give you Sh3 million in cash and divide it among yourselves. Yangu ni ile special injection ya haraka haraka," he said.

Team Kenya scooped 15 Gold medals, four Silver medals and six Bronze medals during the games that took place in Berlin Germany from June 17 to 25, 2023.

The DP said the government will give Sh750,000 to every team member who won a gold medal.

He added that each team that won a silver medal at the games will get Sh100,000.
