The family of businessman Chris Kirubi has commemorated his life and the important role he played.
On Wednesday, his family said that even though time has passed since his demise, they have not moved on.
"We can measure time but we cannot measure loss. It has been two years but there is no way to set a milestone or a limit on the grief," his family said.
They described Kirubi as a powerful man who was an invisible magnetic force in his interactions with others.
"Fond memories of you are forever etched in our souls as the source of inspiration. You are awesome, powerful and carried an invisible magnetic force," they said
Kirubi died on June 14 2021 at his Nairobi home at the age of 80 after battling cancer since 2016.
"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Kirubi (1941-2021) who passed away today, Monday, June 14, 2021, at 1 pm at his home after a long battle with cancer. He fought with fortitude, grace and courage. He was surrounded by his family," a statement from the family read then.
