Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki will on Wednesday tour Turkana.
The CS is expected to visit Operation Maliza Uhalifu National Police Service.
He will also visit the Kenya Defence Forces frontline officers in the county.
The CS is expected to hold a meeting with Turkana County Security and Intelligence Committee to take stock of the war against bandits.
He will later address a security public baraza at Lokori, Turkana East.
Last week Wednesday, Kindiki was in Isebania, Migori, to address insecurity issues.
There was rising tension in Isebania with residents holding protests over cases of insecurity in the town.
Residents claimed that the state of insecurity in the region is wanting.
This was after four people were killed on May 25 and two died the following day in skirmishes.
Though the police accused the mob of storming the station, the public claimed that the police provoked them when they were transporting the body of a businessman killed by thugs in his shop in Isebania town.
Kindiki transferred all police officers at the Isebania police station and ordered the transfer of other government over insecurity at the border town.
He said any police officer who used to work at the station will be transferred and “explain their action (on the violent demonstrations) elsewhere”.
He said after a closed-door security meeting, the problem of insecurity at the border town with Tanzania needed a multiagency approach which is why all government officers at other agencies like Kenya Revenue Authority, Kenya Bureau of Standards, Anti-Counterfeit and immigration department will also be transferred.
