Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta has continued to be criticised over his continued involvement in active politics months after he left office following the August 9 presidential elections.
Those condemning him have accused him of breaching conditions of the Presidential Retirement Benefits Act, 2003.
The Act states that a retired president must quit active politics within six months after leaving office.
As a consequence, Kenya Kwanza MPs have mooted a new plan to have retirement benefits for Uhuru and his handshake partner Raila Odinga and Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka stopped over their involvement in politics.
To deny Uhuru the benefits, a motion supported by two-thirds must be passed in the National Assembly.
