Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Friday attended the 2023 Eldoret National Show.
He was received by farmers and other stakeholders in Agriculture.
The annual show was organised by the Agricultural Society of Kenya.
Gachagua said Agriculture is the backbone of our nation’s economy, and the government is injecting funds to boost this sector.
The theme of the show is: ‘Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth”.
"This year's theme captures our aspirations as we seek to make Agriculture not only more profitable but also friendly to our environment."
