Azimio leader Raila Odinga now says that President William Ruto was imposed on Kenyans by a corrupt Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission.

Speaking on Wednesday, Raila said that it is time Kenyans stood up to defend their right to pick leaders of their choice.

"What we have today are leaders imposed on the people of Kenya by a very corrupt electoral commission and this is totally unacceptable and that's why we are saying no," he said.

"Kenyans must be prepared to stand up and defend their rights because if you don't do that, these people will continue to rule you without your consent permanently."

The former Prime Minister spoke during a meeting with Azimio grassroots leaders ahead of Sunday's Jacaranda mega rally.

He went on to caution foreign powers he did not name from interfering Kenyan affairs.

He said Kenyans have the capacity to solve their own issues.

"Kenyans will solve their issues themselves and I want to say this without fear of contradiction, Kenyans must come up with the leadership they want. Kenyans must elect leaders they want," Raila said.

He added that Kenyans want peace and will only react if provoked.

Raila had during the same meeting claimed that the electoral body had four servers.

He said the presidential poll results only came from one of the four servers.

Raila noted that one was in the Netherlands, another in Venezuela, while the third was at the IEBC offices at Anniversary Towers.

The fourth he claimed was in the Industrial Area.

"I want you to understand. We discovered that there were four servers. One in Holland (Netherlands), another in Venezuela where there was a person called Jose Camargo, the third at Anniversary Towers and the fourth in Industrial Area," he said.

"At the Bomas of Kenya, there was the portal where results were being transmitted to. Of the four servers, only one was sending results, the one in Venezuela."

He claimed that the plan was hatched by former IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati and two other commissioners Yakub Guliye and Molu Boya.
