ODM leader Raila Odinga has maintained that he will continue fighting for socio-political liberation.

He said he will soon make directives on the same, adding that they will heavily impact the country's politics.

Speaking on Friday during the burial ceremony of Barack Oduor, the late bodyguard to Mama Ida, Raila however did not disclose the date of the announcement.

"I will talk to you in the coming days, there are good things we will bring to you. When the time comes, we will tell you... The time has not come but it will come," he said.

The leader was addressing the mourners in Dholuo.

He reiterated that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) had interfered with the August 9, general elections.

He used football lingo by referring to Diego Maradona where the referee did not see the goal, but it was added.

"We will bring VR (Virtual Reality) in the near future."

The former Prime Minister was accompanied by other leaders including Siaya County Governor James Orengo, who affirmed that the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance team had not given up.

"We are going to get there, God willing and so long as we don't put our eyes off the ball," he said.

KANU Secretary General Nick Salat committed to work with the opposition and continue putting President William Ruto's administration to task over its decisions and promises to Kenyans.

"Wasifikirie njaa inaweza kungoja. Njaa haiwezi ngoja. Wapunguze bei. Wasituulize eti tungoje siku mia moja ndio bei ya unga ishuke (They shouldn't think that hunger can wait. Hunger can't wait. They should lower the cost-of-living standards. Let them not ask us to wait for a hundred days to lower the price of unga)," he said.

Also in attendance was Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o.
