Amnesty Kenya on Wednesday celebrated 10 years of advocating for human rights.
The Judiciary commended Amnesty Kenya for championing human rights.
Amnesty Kenya held a cake-cutting ceremony and lit candles in honour of fallen victims of injustice during a memorandum of state agencies responsible for the administration of justice.
There were placards placed at the event displaying messages of hope and pictures of the fallen victims of injustice.
The Independent Policing and Oversite Authority Chairperson Ann Makori, Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji and DCJ Philomena Mwilu were present at the event.

Speaking at the final Legal Freedom Clinic at Aga Khan Walk, Mwilu said the Judiciary is a strong and committed partner with Amnesty.
Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji, who was also in attendance expressed his gratitude, stating that Amnesty had taken the front seat in protecting and promoting human rights.
"We would like to thank Amnesty Kenya for taking the front seat in protecting and promoting human rights and at times putting their lives in danger," he said.
