For President William Ruto, the legacy issues started immediately after he was sworn in on September 13. They began taking direction at that time.
With respect to what he has promised ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, it is not just because he wants to do it or he has to do it; it is because all those are tied to his reelection chances. T
The thing is that if he doesn’t come across as somebody who can be depended upon or trusted, then it diminishes his chances of reelection.
The President, therefore, needs to make sure he comes across as somebody who can be trusted and one who keeps his word. But beyond that, I think President Ruto may have made lots of promises to too many people.
