Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has pledged to support Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga unequivocally.

Speaking at Nyayo Stadium during the Azimio manifesto launch on Monday, Kalonzo asked Kenyans to put aside their political party differences and work towards making Kenya great under Raila and his running mate Martha Karua.

"I pledge to fight for you like a buffalo soldier. I will run everywhere and will not sleep until you become," Kalonzo said.

He said it is God's plan that Raila is contesting for the fifth time to become the fifth president of Kenya.

The Wiper leader added that the nation is at a crossroads urging Kenyans to love their country and not to repeat the mistakes of the 2007 general elections.

He acknowledged the event calling it a "Five-Star manifesto arrangement" and said it is different in that way from the launches of 2013 and 2017.

"Right at the word go pledge my full and unequivocal support. We have an election to win and cannot play around," he reiterated.

Kalonzo paid a tribute to President Uhuru Kenyatta for making it clear he will step down when his time is up.

The former Vice President said it is a remarkable and rare thing in the current African leadership for presidents to willingly step down.

He expressed his confidence in Raila's win on August 9.

"We must come out. Every person must make it that this is their manifesto. On my part, I know we are going to work  24 hours."

He said the launching time is a clear indication that Kenya is ready for a 24-hour economy.

Kalonzo added that no Kenyan will be left behind if Raila wins the presidency.

If Azimio takes the next government, Kalonzo will be the Chief Cabinet Secretary.
