Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential hopeful Raila Odinga has finally unveiled individuals who will lead his regional campaigns.
In a document obtained by the Star, the former Prime minister and his running mate Martha Karua will lead national campaigns.
They will be assisted by MPs Junet Mohamed, Caleb Amisi, Mishi Mboko, Richard Onyonka, Opiyo Wandayi, Babu Owino, Philip Pande and Maina Kamanda.
Peter Kenneth and Carol Karugu will also be part of the national campaigns team.
The Azimio team has mapped the country into nine regions in a bid to boost his presence across the country, ahead of the August 9 polls.
The Mt Kenya team will be led by Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya, Murang'a Woman Rep Sabina Chege and Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyajui.
The western Kenya team will be led by Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and Defence CS Eugene Wamalwa.
The Rift Valley team will be led by Stephen Tarus while the Ukambani team will be captained by Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana.
Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho will take charge of the Coast region while Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku will coordinate the Maa region.
MP Tim Wanyonyi and Chief Administrative Secretary Rachel Shebesh will take charge of the campaigns in Nairobi, while CS Ukur Yatani and Feisal Abass will both lead the North Eastern campaigns.
Kisii Governor James Ongwae, ODM Chairman John Mbadi and MP Simba Arati will spearhead Nyanza region campaigns.
These leaders will be assisted by other leaders from their regions including sitting MPs, senators, governors and woman representatives.
Governor Charity Ngilu, Gladys Wanga and Rahab Muilu will lead women's campaigns across the country.
The three will each lead a team of women comprising of sitting and aspiring women leaders from the Azimio coalition, as well as those from the Maendeleo ya Wanawake organisation.
