Inawezekana! Raila sings, dances as video is released

ODM leader Raila Odinga has made his showbiz debut through a cameo in Emmanuel Musindi’s ‘Leo ni Leo remix’ video.

In the video, Raila starts by requesting the DJ for the original "Leo ni Leo" song while at a rally which is followed by Emmanuel Musindi singing the chorus. 

In the remix, the Africa Union envoy takes on the hook by singing:

"Tunasema pia hapa Kenya, inawezekana....Kenya mpya inawezekana, nchi ambayo ikona raha na ustawi."

Loosely translates to (We are saying that here in Kenya all is possible... A new Kenya can happen, a country with happiness and prosperity)

His new music video which is now on YouTube was released at 11:00 am on Tuesday.

In a teaser tweet, Raila said: "Set your reminders: My 1st ever song drops at 11 am on the following link https://youtu.be/yf4eQDa2IgM and my Facebook page as well. Tune in! #BabaTheArtist."

The song premiered on the former prime minister social media handles today morning.

Over the years the ODM leader has used music while staging his campaigns.

According to his press secretary Dennis Onsarigo, the former prime minister is keen on supporting the creative and art industry.
