According to Met, this will also include the Central and South Rift Valley and some parts of the Highlands West of the Rift Valley.
"The general public is advised to adopt warm dress codes and follow advice from the Health Authorities to avoid contracting diseases," Met announced.
In the weather outlook for August, Met said this will also mark the end of the cold season for the Highlands East of the Rift Valley, which includes Nairobi, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu and Tharaka Nithi counties.
"On average, the maximum temperatures are expected to range between 200C and 240C but a few days may experience maximum temperatures below 180C. The minimum temperatures are expected to range between 70C and 130C but a few days may experience minimum temperatures as low as 50C," Met said.
Occasional afternoon showers are likely to occur in the region.
