Itumbi loses PSCU job as Public Service Commission scraps positions

Digital strategist Dennis Itumbi is one of five officers at the Presidential Service Communications Unit who has lost his job on Wednesday following the Public Service Commission's move to scrap positions.

The PSC declared the positions redundant.

Itumbi was the Senior Director, Communications (Digital, Innovation, Diaspora Communication)  at PSCU.

 
 

Other positions scrapped are Senior Director, Communication (Events & Branding), senior Director, Communications (Speech Writing) , Director, Communication (Events & Branding) and principle Information Officer (Head of Digital Strategies).

The other positions were held by Dennis James Kinyua, Erick Ng'eno, David Nzioka and John Ndolo.

In the description section of his Twitter account, Itumbi now only describes himself as a pig farmer.

The job loss comes as Itumbi celebrates his birthday.

Itumbi has been at the centre of a case revolving a fake assassination letter against Deputy President William Ruto.
