Thirty counties have higher females than males, statistics from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics has shown.

In Volume II of the 2019 population and Census results released on Friday, out of 47.6 million Kenyans, men account for 23,548,056 while the number of women stood at 24,014,716.

This means that women are more by 466,660.
