Former president Daniel Moi will be laid to rest today at his Kabarak home.
Thousands of Kenyans led by president Uhuru Kenyatta have thronged the venue with dignitaries not left behind.
Moi who died on February 4, 2020 aged 95, was Kenya's second president who ruled for 24 years.
The military helicopter carrying the body of the late landed at Kabarak Airstrip on Wednesday morning.
Those on board who accompanied the body of the late president from Wilson Airport included his son Gideon Moi.
