A fire that had destroyed several houses at Kibera's Gatwekera area in Nairobi on Friday has been contained.
Red Cross responders on site said the cause of the 4.30pm fire was unknown and that no casualties had been reported.
Fire engines from the Nairobi County government and locals were able to contain the fire before it spread to other houses.
Property of unknown value was destroyed.
