President William Ruto on Wednesday inspected the 540-unit police housing project in Kilimani, Nairobi.

During the inspection tour, Ruto condemned recent acts of violence during protests.

Ruto said such criminal acts amount to a declaration of war and vowed not to allow the country to be destabilised.

He branded those behind attacks on Kenyans, police officers, security installations, and businesses as "terrorists."

 "We will not allow our country to be destroyed by retrogressive elements that are seeking shortcuts to rise to power. Enough is enough!" he said.

 Ruto also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to restoring order and ensuring safety for all Kenyans as housing and infrastructure projects continue.
