"Collaborating with such global organizations allows us to leverage international expertise, resources, and coordinated strategies to effectively combat these threats," said Omollo in a statement on X.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) was established in 1997.
UNODC fights against illicit drugs and international crime, in addition to being responsible for implementing the United Nations lead programme on terrorism.
