The ongoing heavy rains have left a trail of destruction in some parts of Nairobi.

Kasarani residents were on Wednesday left stranded as the roads remained impassable.

The Kenya Meteorological Department has warned that the massive flooding being experienced in parts of Nairobi will persist in the next two days.

The forecast showed that rains of up to 20mm will pound Embakasi East and South.

Roysambu, Westlands, Lang’ata, Kibera, Dagoretti North and South, Makadara, Starehe, Kamukunji and Ruaraka should brace for up to 50mm of rain, the weatherman said.
