Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo on Thursday led the National Celebrations Committee in inspecting the construction of Masinde Muliro Stadium in Bungoma.

The stadium, built in Kanduyi, is expected to host this year's Madaraka Day Celebrations.

Construction of the stadium began in 2019 with a budget of Sh650 million and upon completion, the stadium will have a seating capacity for 5,000 people.
