Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and UDA Secretary General Cleophas Malala on Monday went out for an early morning walk in Kakamega County.
The two engaged in physical exercises and stretches as guided by their trainer.
Gachagua said sustainable cities and communities encourage healthy lifestyles- including giving room for physical exercises for productivity.
"It was a pleasure taking my morning walk for the second day in the streets of Kakamega Town, in the company of the Secretary General of our party, UDA, the youthful and energetic Cleophas Malala," Gachagua said.
Gachagua said on his way, he also bumped into Labour Cabinet Secretary Florence Bore also taking her walk.
Gachagua said taking walks and engaging in physical exercise is important for optimal performance of the mind.
"With a nourished mind and soul, the pace is set to join President William Ruto, in his busy working tour of Western Kenya as he rebuilds the nation," Gachagua said.
