Azimio La Umoja coalition leaders led by Raila Odinga are attending the burial of the late Mama Grace Onyango
The burial held on Friday is taking place at Gem Constituency.
Raila is joined by Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua, Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyongó his deputy Ochieng' Owili among others.
Mama Grace Onyango, was the first female Member of Parliament in post-independence K.
She passed on March 8, 2023, at the age of 99.
Mama Grace succumbed to illness at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) where she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Mama Grace is also the first Kenyan female mayor after she replaced Mathias Ondiek as the Kisumu Mayor in 1965.
