Grade seven learners at Bidii primary school in Buruburu on Monday received a mobile laboratory for grade seven learners.

The learners were taught to use a microscope for their science lessons.

School Equipment Production Unit Head of Sales Allan Weche was at the school to demonstrate to the learners how to use the laboratory equipment.

Teachers backed the idea of having Junior Secondary School learners have a mobile laboratory as they are cheaper to set up.

The mobile labs which are procured by the School Equipment Production Unit cost around Sh200,000.

The mobile lab has the ability to carry out experiments for subjects ranging from Form 1 to Form 4.

The lab can be used for Grades seven, eight and nine.
