First Lady Rachael Ruto on Monday inaugurated the Digital Skills Literacy Programme in Nairobi.

This is in line with the 2023 International Women's Day theme of 'DigitALL'.

In a statement, the First Lady said that it is essential to equip women with digital literacy skills in the age of digitalisation.

She said that it is also essential to bridge the gender gap and ensure inclusivity.

The programme aims to equip women with the knowledge and digital skills required while promoting responsible e-waste management.

The programme is in partnership with Computers for Schools Kenya.
