Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has this morning welcomed the French Minister for Foreign Trade, Economic Attractiveness and French Nationals Abroad Betcht Oliver to Kenya.
Mutua received his French counterpart in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.
Together, they visited Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii at his office where they discussed the various development programs funded by the French Government in the area and in Kenya.
"Our desire is to attract more French business investments in Kenya and development support so that we have more job opportunities for our youth and more money in circulation," he said.
Also present was French Ambassador to Kenya Arnaud Suquet.
