With the Kenya Kwanza government pushing for its digitisation agenda, President William Ruto will on Tuesday chaired the first paperless Cabinet meeting.

The Cabinet used to meet at State House but observe the Covid-19 preventative protocol including wearing of masks and social distancing.
With the new regime, President Ruto had announced early this year that Cabinet meetings will henceforth go digital and would be run on the digital space.
"From the next Cabinet meeting our Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau has assured us our meetings are going to be paperless. We are going to run cabinet based on the digital space," Ruto said.
