Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang'ula and Senate speaker Amason Kingi on Monday witnessed President William Ruto assent to law the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (Amendment) Act 2022. 

"At State House this morning alongside my counterpart Senate Speaker, Kingi, to witness President William Ruto assent to law the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (Amendment) Act 2022," Wetang'ula said.

He said that the composition of a complete IEBC selection panel will pave way for recruitment of new IEBC commissioners to spearhead elections at the electoral body.
