Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will on Sunday afternoon preside over the National joint thanksgiving service for Uniformed Disciplined Services in Nairobi.

The event is taking place at Holy Family Minor Basilica from 1 PM.

The annual event jointly organized by the Uniformed and Disciplined Services Chaplaincy comprises the Kenya Police, Kenya Prison, Administration Police, Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Kenya Wildlife Service, Kenya Forest Service, and the National Youth Service.

A uniformed police officer is a visible representation and face of government and is required to remain extremely disciplined and professional while on duty and off duty.
