[PHOTOS] Nairobi CBD back to normal after presidential results announcement

Business activities in Nairobi's central business district have resumed normalcy less than 24 hours after the Presidential results were announced by the IEBC.

Many traders and hawkers closed shops on Monday before the results were announced by chair Wafula Chebukati.

Shops remained close for the better part of Monday afternoon and evening.

The IEBC chairperson Wafula Chebkati declared UDA leader William Ruto as the president-elect.
