Deputy president William Ruto on Wednesday took his campaigns to Kirinyaga county as he sought to consolidate his vote base 12 days to the August 9 general elections.
He was accompanied by his running mate Rigathi Gachagua to drum up support for their bid.
The UDA campaign caravan started in Kathigiriri and Kianyaga.
Those who accompanied him included host Governor Anne Waiguru, Speaker Justin Muturi, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Woman Rep Cate Waruguru, MP Charles Kanyi, James Murango, David Mathenge and Gichimu Githinji.
UDA Nairobi candidates also took the Kenya Kwanza gospel to Wamagana in Tetu, Nyeri County.
The campaign trail also included Nairobi governor candidate Johnson Sakaja, Senator candidate Bishop Margret Wanjiru, Millicent Omanga, Benson Gathiru and a host of MCAs from Embakasi Central.
"Our pledge is to restore the dignity of the city, bring back order and make it work for everyone," Sakaja said.
