UDA party has officially endorsed Deputy President William Ruto as the party's presidential candidate ahead of the August polls.
The delegates endorsed Ruto after a closed-door session on Tuesday.
Deputy President William Ruto arrived in the company of his wife, Rachel Ruto.
He was dressed in a yellow T-shirt with Ankara print and navy blue trousers, while Rachel was dressed in a gold-yellow skirt suit.
About 5,000 delegates endorsed him as the party's presidential flagbearer.
Among the leaders present are Governor Anne Waiguru, UDA Secretary-General Veronica Maina, chairman Johnstone Muthama, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua and Kandara MP Alice Wahome.
