State makes four new CEO appointments in various corporations

The government has announced appointments in various state corporations.

In a statement on Friday, government spokesman Isaac Mwaura said the appointments have been made following a successful competitive recruitment process.

He added that it was in line with the concurrence of the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Koskei.

Philip Kiptanui Kirwa has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer, of Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.

Abdallah Mohamed Hatimy has also been appointed Managing Director of the Kenya National Shipping Limited.

According to the government spokesman, the appointments take effect immediately.

Joseph Mungai Kamau has also been appointed Chief Executive Officer, of Athi Water Works Development Agency.

Agnes Kalekye Nguna has been appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).

Announcing the appointment, Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo noted that the appointment, which is effective immediately, will run for three years.
